Hello and welcome! My name is Paula and I offer short and long-term therapy, currently online, on the phone, or outdoors.
My pronouns are she/her.
I can offer sessions in both English and German.
I love working together with people who might feel lost to find some answers. I provide therapy that's collaborative, authentic, inclusive, warm and challenging. Most importantly, I provide a safe space where we can think, feel and explore together.

I don’t have a set/rigid way of working but tailor my approach to what you need.
Most importantly, I provide a safe space where we can think together. I will listen without judgment and together we will look at what isn’t working for you right now.
Sometimes it can be hard to identify what exactly is holding us back, I see my role in helping you identify and address these issues/challenges and support you to face and overcome these.
Trauma can have a widespread impact on people's life experience. Trauma-informed therapy looks at the connection between trauma and our emotional, physical and behavioural responses.
A safe environment is important when it comes to this. First we will establish a trusting and solid therapy relationship. I will work at your pace and together we will co-create ways to widen your window of tolerance so you can regain a sense of agency and empowerment.
I welcome people of all backgrounds and identities and strive to provide an anti-oppressive practice.
I think it's important not to individualise our problems but take into account how we are shaped by our circumstances and the society we're a part of.
This includes recognising the inherent position of power and privilege I hold as a counsellor in the therapy relationship and in ensuring that we work together as equals. You are always the expert of your experiences.
Therapy is your time and space where you can be fully yourself and you can me to be my authentic self.
I don't believe in hiding behind a professional facade, I think connections are much deeper and better when you get to experience me as I am.
I bring my humour and emotions into the room, because I am human, just like you. I always do this in a way that helps us connect and never in a way that makes it about me.
